Honeybear Whalley Range Nursery & Pre-School is situated on a quiet street in the heart of Whalley Range, close to Princess Parkway motorway links and Manchester City centre. The location of the nursery and pre-school makes it convenient for those travelling to work and those that live in the surrounding area.
Opened in 1990, the nursery is based in a church hall and part of St Margaret’s church is used for our toddler and pre-school children. The nursery has a warm, family feel and over the years has been remodelled to best suit the needs of our children and families. We are currently registered for 37 children.
We have a safe and secure outdoor play area with a soft cushioned garden for our babies and teenies. The nursery has been designed for the upmost safety for our children.
We offer both full and part time day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We currently have limited flexible spaces along with one day sessions available. We are closed for public bank holidays and have a short closure between Christmas and New Year.
After leaving school I went on to do a a level 3 childcare qualification since then I have spent the last 30 years working in a variety of roles within childcare from babies up until children aged 11 this has been within nurseries, primary schools and also sen schools I have also worked as a children’s holiday rep so have a wide range and variety of experience. I have worked for Honeybear for 3 years both at the Gatley setting and now at the Whalley range setting and really enjoy getting to know the different children and families. Outside of nursery I enjoy spending time with family mainly visiting new places and going on walks or enjoying different craft activities.
Our children take part in many varied age/stage appropriate activities. Our staff ensure activities and experiences are based around the individual child and their interests. We ensure our children are stimulated, engaged and have fun as they learn.
We provide nursery care for children aged from 3 months to two years.
We provide pre-school for children aged from three to four years.
Our fees are fully inclusive of all meals, drinks, nappies, formula milk, teething gels/powders and nappy creams. We have an onsite cook and our meals are created to provide a healthy, nutritional diet.
We provide childcare services in a safe, secure and happy environment, allowing your child to grow and develop.
