Current Career Opportunities
We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:
1. Nursery Practitioner (Full-Time)
– Location: Honeybear Nursery & Pre-School – Gatley, Hale & Whalley Range
– Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent)
– Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a Nursery Practitioner (preferred)
– Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver creative, play-based activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
– Observe and assess children’s progress, addressing individual needs and celebrating milestones.
– Build strong, positive relationships with parents by providing regular updates on their child’s development.
– Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, attendance logs, and safeguarding documentation.
– Follow safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure children’s safety and well-being.
2. Nursery Apprentice
– Location: Honeybear Nursery & Pre-School – Gatley, Hale & Whalley Range
– Qualifications: No prior qualifications required; a passion for early years education is essential
– Responsibilities:
– Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
– Support the team in delivering fun, play-based learning activities.
– Develop key childcare skills and knowledge while completing your apprenticeship training.
– Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
– Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment.
