Honeybear Nursery wishes all a Happy Hanukkah
Honeybear Nursery and Pre-School would like to wish everybody a Happy Hanukkah.
Whilst the nurseries are not open this year during Hanukkah – 22nd December to 30th December 2019 – we have spoken to the children about Hanukkah, explaining to our pre-school children that Hanukkah, which is Hebrew for “dedication,” is the Festival of Lights.
We have explained that people celebrate Hanukkah at home by lighting the menorah, with one additional candle being lit each night over the eight night period.
